I'm noticing something really interesting today, that I don't normally pay much attention to. I'm sitting here in a coffee shop ( no,not Starbucks.. a locally owned, independent store ), and there's all these people in here... and all of us are in our own worlds. I'm typing on my computer, as are several other people. Some people are reading the paper, or a book... the place is filled with people, and yet we all barely even acknolwege that there's any one else around.

There's something fundamentally disturbing about this.
