Thoughts that came to me during a late night walk:

We used to be whole. All consciousness was connected, a single mind, a vast network. Something happened, and the network was destroyed. All nodes lost their connections, and the single mind fragmented. In the collapse of the network, we were damaged. Suffering from amnesia, not knowing what used to be, we sank into ourselves, individual nodes no longer connected to the network, thinking that we are individual entities wandering lost in a vast, dead universe. That which was forgotten can be remembered. That which was lost can be found. The network can be repaired. That's why we are here... we are here to repair the damage. Had a great conversation about all of this with a good friend who appeared back in my life at exactly the right moment. Funny how that works.
